What is Ego Death (Mort de l’ego / Identity Erasure) ?

Ego Death and Identity Erasure are not a scene—they are a demolition project. It is the most extreme evolution of psychological domination, a long-term process aimed at completely dismantling a submissive’s original identity. This is not about playing a role; it is about systematically destroying who you are: your name, your history, your tastes, your memories, your core “self”. Once the slate is clean, the Dominant rebuilds a new identity, an artificial personality that exists only in relation to and for them. The slave does not just become an object—they become their Master’s creation, with no past or future outside of the Master’s will.

The Process of Identity Demolition

This process is a form of brainwashing similar to sectarian techniques. The person is isolated, their old certainties are constantly questioned and ridiculed, while the Dominant’s new “truth” is hammered home day after day. Every aspect of their old life is erased, replaced by new rules, a new name, a new purpose. The submissive is no longer “John Smith who likes movies”—they become “the Master’s thing that only lives to serve”. The goal is total dependence, not just physical, but psychological and emotional.

Irreversible Consequences and Psychological Abuse

It must be absolutely clear: this is no longer a game. This is the territory of the most severe psychological abuse. The damage is almost always irreversible and can lead to complex post-traumatic stress disorder, severe dissociative disorders, and a total inability to function outside the dynamic. The very concept of consent becomes a farce, as the target of this “game” is precisely the part of you that can consent: your identity and free will. Once this line is crossed, there is no turning back.
